Known as holy basil in India, Tulsi is described as aromatic and sometimes bitter. Lemonbalm and Lemon Verbena are also aromatic, yet less aggressive in taste. The schizandra berries, elderberries, hibiscus and rosehips all add a slight tang, making this a great tea to enjoy with honey and lemon. The Chinese name for Schizandra berries are translated to "fruit of the five flavors". They have such a unique taste on the tongue that it touches all five tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent).
Pour boiling water over tea diffuser and let steep for 8 to 10 minutes.
Add a touch of honey and lemon if you'd like. Serve hot or cold. CAFFEINE FREE
